200 days!

You non-Twilight-movie-fans can skip ahead, but I had to mention this...

Cupcakes, are you watching the countdown? Just 200 days until Breaking Dawn Part2 hits theaters!!! WOOHOO! 

BD Pt2 teaser trailer

I should probably be more excited about this trailer than I actually am. After all, the 1st teaser trailer was all of 15 seconds, and this one is 3 times as long. But I do feel jipped b/c you barely see ANYTHING! It's the same shots as the 15 second one w/ some more trees thrown in. And that poor little deer! HA! Oh well, it's something. They have to string us along w/ little bits of footage for the next 234 days, and come on, it's not as if I'm gonna protest and NOT watch it. I'll take all the Twilight I can get! At least we got to see some werewolf goodness! :)

 

2 days!

Just 2 more days until the DVD release of Breaking Dawn Part 1!!!! It wasn't enough to see it in theaters 3 times--I gotta own it and watch my fave scenes over and over like an obsessed teenager. :) Target stores all over are having midnight release parties, and this fan cannot go. :( Hubby and Jacob have a Boy Scout lock-in, and somehow me dragging 2 sleepy kids to Target at midnight seems like a recipe for disaster. Anyone wanna come babysit? HA!

Oh, and last week I was called a "Twilight Mom" by the high school Girl Scout troop that's leading Grace's Daisy troop. We were playing hot potato and needed some music, so I let them use my phone. One of them noticed my phone cover, her eyes got really big, and she said, "Are you a Twilight Mom? That is so cool!" So then we had a long conversation about Breaking Dawn and how her Mom wouldn't let her go opening night just b/c it was a school night. *sigh* I didn't tell her that I was old enough to be her mom or that heck yah!!! I would've let her go if she were my daughter; it was weird enough to be called a "Twilight Mom" in the first place. I'm not old! :)

I'm a little biased, I realize, but there's no doubt the Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 soundtrack is amazing. It's a very different style from the other 3 movie soundtracks, more reflective and moody. Actually it's perfect. I cannot decide which song is my fave. This one is short and sweet and fits my mood today. :)

I know, I'm a little over-the-top w/ all these videos lately, but sometimes I just gotta share. This is not a music video, if that makes you feel any better. In fact, for all you rolling-your-eyes-at-my-Twilight-obsession people, you will like this one. It's Christmasy in fact. Then again, you have to actually get Twilight to get parodies like this one. :) (Hat tip: Lisa-Lisa! My fave parts are the long pause...."Say it..........outloud!"  and Bella: "Is that even English?")
