Why I love L & O

Last night while watching a Law & Order rerun, I finally figured out what is so cool about this show and why it's been on the air for over 15 years. Not only is it ripped from the headlines and controversial, but it doesn't answer social questions. They do a good job of providing both sides of social issues and not proclaiming one right or wrong. Other shows usually are biased.....CBS' Judging Amy is so liberal that I stopped watching after it got annoying. They were constantly selling their ideals and not just presenting a story. But L & O has continued to do it right. Give the viewer something to think about; don't tell them what to think. Dick Wolf is a genius!

I enjoy Law & Order, especially Law & Order SVU. I have read that they base a lot of the shows on actual events which definitely gives it that "it could happen around here" feeling. Well maybe not around here..but it still could happen!
